In reference to a consultation regarding dress-making for the Brownson House, I wish to state that I will be very glad at any time to co-operate in as far as I am able with you in an Brownson House activity,and if you will telephone me at the Bureau of Catholic Charities any Monday, Wednesday or Friday, between the hours of ten and four thirty, I shall be very glad to arrange a meeting to talk this matter over with you.    In talking over with Father Corr the matter of sending father Resa a third report, it seems to him superfluous.    Under separate cover we are mailing blanks as per your request. Brownson House was originally located in a rented cottage on Aliso St., but moved to a new facility on Jackson St. in late 1904 or early 1905.  Born into a politically prominent Los Angeles family, Mary Julia Workman founded the Brownson House Settlement Association in 1901 and led it for 19 years. She became the first woman to join the Municipal League, a civic watchdog group.
