That don Elías  give Lebre a promissory note was precisely what I had wanted believing that it would be to  Hanon's advantage. But if he doesn't agree, then I will authorize Lebre to claim the merchandise  to pay what I owe; and from what is left, if any, I will pay other bills.  I understand that in spite of your good will, you cannot dedicate yourself full time to my business  matters, and I appreciate what you have done up to now. This is what I realized at the beginning  and for that reason I named a proxy which as you well know has not produced any results.
