March 6, 1928  Mr. Francisco Venegas  Guadalajara, Jal.  Dear brother:  Your letter of February 26th was received and is the one I now have the pleasure of answering.  I hope by now you have received the letter I wrote you in response to yours written on February  12th; in that one I told you to give the sewing machine to Mrs Marcelina Hernández, on the part  of J. Trinidad Álvarez.  I am informed of my pending business matters, now that the lawyer seems to be doing  something. Perhaps it is too late to do anything about the merchandise, of which I know nothing,  that was left with don Ignacio. Please tell me if you know whether it is still there.  If you see the lawyer, tell him that I have written several times and have received no answer, and  to communicate with me so I can give him instructions.  Business here is also very bad, there's hardly any work and so people are without money,  nevertheless I am supporting myself like in the beginning and I believe I will earn what is  necessary to live on. God grant that the situation will improve here as well as there.  That God help you and keep you free from all sickness is the wish of your brother who loves you  all.  Miguel  P.S.
