Lupita's  photo was received which we liked very much; our congratulations for such a transcendental act  [are they now engaged?].  I hope this letter finds you all recovered from your illnesses.  The anniversary of my departure from that city brings me many thoughts, and I remember each  and every one of my traveling companions many of whom have not, to this day, returned. I have  thought about our dear brother [Alfonso] whom I have not forgotten for one day; and I wonder  where he might be.  Anita tells me she has three hundred pesos available which I would like you to collect as soon as  possible and do me the favor of depositing it in a bank for me.  With many regards from Lola and the boys to my parents, and all my brothers and sisters, I  remain as always your affectionate brother who dearly loves you.
