The park was dedicated in 1881, and in 1901, the name changed to Eastlake Park. The park was renamed again in 1917, to Lincoln Park, after a local high school. The park featured a lake covering over 6 acres, where visitors could go boating. It had a large conservatory and cactus with a collection of over 200 species of cacti, as well as the Los Angeles area's first zoological garden. It was also a popular spot for picnicking. Located just across from the park were two more popular tourist destinations: an Ostrich Farm and an Alligator farm."},{"label":"Transcription","value":"On back: \"The Conservatories, Eastlake Park, Los Angeles, Cal.
