Regarding the first point in your letter I tell you  that the little girl's name is María Teresa as you probably know from a letter I wrote afterwards.  Lola is in good health as well as the baby and the rest of the family.  We regret your illness and from what I gather it lasted more than a week and please God you  soon recover your health so that you can confront the rough fight for life. I feel a bit sick now: it  has been three days now that my body aches day and night, like a cold, I don’t know if it is a  symptom of paludism or if it is the nervous system because it hurts very much.  If the vegetable diet doesn't cure my condition I will have to see a doctor even if I don't want to.  I regret that you have not received the letter with the document that I sent, in which I was  answering yours where you told me of your plans for a possible trip over here and other things of  which we would like to know more details and if you really mean it, we would be very pleased to  know and needless to say [also] of the possibility of seeing you here some day.  Please answer as soon as possible and in the meantime I remain your affectionate brother who  loves you.  Miguel  P.S. All of you receive many regards from Lola and the children.
