México  My Dear Dad:  I have before me your letter of November 17th that made us have a very happy day as we always  do when we receive news from all of you. Except that this one brought us unexpected news such  as the departure of Chayo who joins religious life; that is a mixture of sadness and happiness and  all of you must to feel it even more; on our part we are happy that God calls her to that life.  We hope that, God willing, my mother continues in good health after, as you say, she became  somewhat ill. With respect to the paragraph about the Camberos ladies, it seems to me very good  what you told them regarding the matter they want to discuss, I will see if I can write to them and  at least say something.  I am aware of the rest of the points in your letter, I remain as always your affectionate son who  awaits your blessing.
