Dear Dad:  Confirming my former letter in which I told you what happened to Lalo, and that we were  waiting for the results of another operation to extract the bean I now let you know that he is  better although we still don't know how many more days he will stay in the hospital because all  of this was of a delicate nature and they have him under great care.  Today at 3:00 P.M. I went to see him and he is coming along fine except that they are waiting for  the disappearance of certain microbes of \"diphtheria\" in the throat and that is why they do not  permit anyone to go near him. He cries often wanting to go home.  I send you another newspaper \"The Evening Express\" which also gives an ample review of the  case. Maybe someone can read it.  After having suffered greatly during that short time that we saw him agonize and die so  desperately, we are now content and in conformity with God's will who decided to leave him  with us still.  My regard to my mom who I wish is in good health and the same for the rest of you and you  receive the affection from your son who appreciates you and awaits your blessing.  Miguel Venegas  P.S.
