The shape of the body implies that under the Qing dynasty, the kingdom will remain unified forever. It has a short neck, an averted mouth, and a narrow shoulder. The surface is decorated with several vases of lotus and plum flowers along with rocks and other objects usually seen in a scholar's study. The color of the cobalt pigment is a deep violet-blue. It is painted in a style associated with the latest phase of the Ming period. However, the details are not very finely drawn and the band of plantain leaf design around the shoulder does not match those from the Yuan to the Qing period.
