Its body is decorated with carved prunus flowers in relief. The prunus (plum) tree is one of the Three Friends of Winter. Its blossom of five petals appears before leaves and represents survival of hardships, endurance and perseverance and represents the Five Gods of Happiness. The prunus blossoms are also a symbol of longevity.
