It attempts to portray the supernatural forces that manifest in Santiago de Chile, in the spot where cerro Manquehue and r√≠o Mapocho meet establishing a sacred space, a point of concentration of power and energy, a channel of connection with the ancestors who inhabited this place before me. Wak'a is a Quechua concept that refers to objects, places, or people where supernatural forces of the earth, of the Pachamama, are expressed, embodying the sacred. It is interesting that its mythical source indicates a duplication of matter, the one of the founding ancestors who, upon their death, transformed into sacred stones. I sense that some of this involves making photography...
