Shown is the event taking place with Baylor President Emeritus, Pat M. Neff, escorting her during the ceremony. Gov. Neff worked with A.J. Armstrong on the initial concept and funding of what would become the Armstrong Browning Library. While President of Baylor University, former Texas Governor Neff set $100,000 aside to make available, if Dr. Armstrong could raise enough money to equal the amount.
