Prognostication in any form requires memory of the past, both in the asking of a question and in the assessment of the answer. Due to the cryptic nature of the answers provided by this fortune teller, the questioner can only know what was predicted after it has happened, hence the title of the work. Fortune tellers occur in my work periodically.
