Trinity Episcopal Church was organized around 1752.  The current Gothic Revival structure, designed by Ithiel Town was dedicated in 1816 (left on the postcard). Center Church, formerly known as First Church, New Haven, was originally organized in 1639.  Four other churches merged into First Church during the 20th century.  The current structure, by Ithiel Town, was built in 1812 (center on the postcard). North Church, organized in 1796, with roots dating to 1742, merged with Third Church, New Haven, in 1884 to form the current church, the United Church on the Green, United Church of Christ. The current structure dates to around 1814 (center-right on the postcard). A caption on the front of the postcard reads \"Trinity, Center and North Churches.
