However, there is limited research available on the effects of rest-intervals during plyometric training on participant’s fatigue and readiness to train. To mitigate and advise others on constructing plyometric training programs, we conducted a study to determine the effects of varying rest-intervals on participants’ fatigue and readiness to train. Free of physical limitations, 7 Berry College students were recruited on a volunteer basis. All participants completed 3 familiarization session tests including: 2 squat jumps, 2 barbell back squats at 40% maximum, 2 barbell back squats at 80% maximum, and 2 isometric pulls. For the actual testing sessions, participants completed the same movements as the familiarization session tests pre-plyometric training, post- plyometric training, 8-hours post plyometric training, and 24-hours post plyometric training. Each participant also completed a plyometric training session, which consisted of: 3x4 vertical depth jumps, 3x6 side-to-side push-offs, 3x4 horizontal depth jumps, 3x5 bounds, 3x4 squat jumps, and 4x5 single-leg zig-zag hops. Participants were also instructed to rate their perceived level of fatigue and vigor at each testing session. Our findings indicated that rest interval length during plyometric training had no effect on participants’ fatigue and readiness to train."},{"label":"Date","value":"December 13 2024"},{"label":"Date
