HVAC believes stories have the power to humanize individuals and undermine stigmas and stereotypes in ways statistics cannot. Jacqueline Turner has overcome obstacles with domestic abuse, for that was how she found herself homeless and in need of a shelter. She outlines the different employment experiences she faced- the good jobs and the bad; her experiences working with day labor; and her familiarities with having to work multiple jobs at one time. Jacqueline gives insight to changes needed to employment practices that will help not only women, but all whom are struggling to make ends meet."},{"label":"Date
