Fujiwara Hidesato crosses a bridge a Seto and finds a giant serpent, instead of being afraid he just steps over it. The serpent then turns into a beautiful woman and asked Hidesato to help kill her enemy, a giant centipede. The centipede killed the woman's sons and grandsons. Hidesato accepts the task and manages to kill the monster with three arrows.
