They were grateful to have a job, but frustrated to risk their health for a paycheck. Laura has since then started a new job and grad school all from their studio apartment which can be weird and difficult - but mentions that's not the worst considering police brutality, ICE detention centers, climate and political crisis. Everything is exacerbated by COVID-19. They hope we can learn more about mutual aid, redistribution of resources/funding, and pressuring politicians (where possible).
