Farther to the right a trip of people can be seen enjoying a meal on a raised platform, they are likely there to view the full moon. Hirota Shrine is mentioned in the Nihon Shoki (The Chronicles of Japan) as one of the shrines the sun goddess Amaterasu tasked the empress consort with building.
