A Street scene at twilight. In the middle of the road, female employees of the teahouse struggle to pull passing travelers inside to stay. To the right side, at the entrance of the teahouse, a traveler washes his feet, and another woman watches the scene in the street. In the entryway are signs that name the engraver (Jirobei), printer (Heibei), and designer (Ichiryusai) of the print. In the large circular sign on the back wall is the name of the publisher (Takenouchi). The left side of the composition is lined with various other homes and businesses reaching back into the image, creating a sense of depth."},{"label":"Extent","value":"1 file ; 77.3 MB"},{"label":"Digital Origin","value":["reformatted digital"]},{"label":"Media Type","value":["image/jpeg"]},{"label":"Type of resource","value":["still image"]},{"label":"Physical location","value":"American University Library.
